What is your favorite classic video arcade game?

Pac-Man. Probably because I was good at it. I was also a fan of Q-Bert and Frogger, but Pac-Man was the one I always went back to. I still like to play it, which is often pointed out to be "totally uncool."
Why do you think teenagers are involved in more car crashes than any other age group?

I think it's mostly inexperience combined with more congested roads that cause the most problems. Oh, and probably the invention of cellphones - as I'm not sure there is a teenager today not obsessed with texting all the time. But yeah, I think you're much more nervous behind the wheel and more likely to panic in a situation than someone who has been driving for ten years.
What is worse? Ignorance or apathy?

This is hard question because I'm not a big fan of ignorance and there are certain things I tend to get apathetic about...so I'm gonna seem like a hypocrit, but at least I'll own it. I think apathy is worse. Because you know what's going on and just don't care enough to do anything about it. At least an ignorant fool doesn't know that there is better out there.
What's your "deal breaker" when it comes to relationships?
Distrust. I'm one of those people who tends to trust people until they give me a reason not to. Unfortunately, once I have a reason not too? I don't tend to forgive-and-forget very easy. One of my not-so-good qualities is my ability to hold grudges for years. So yeah. If I can't trust you, I can't have a relationship.
I have come up with a genius idea...or so I like to think. It probably exists and I'll realize that I'm not only unobservant but that my laziness knows no bounds (how hard is google? Very hard for lazy folk.). Anyway, our office is getting to move to a new building in May. And all the work that goes into this move, coming only six months after my personal move to a new house...well, I think there should be a a group or company that takes care of everything for you move. Gets you quotes and the best deal on movers, forwards mail but also reaches out to every company you do business with to do the address updating, provides an announcement of the move to your business (or personal contacts). Sort of like a wedding or event planner but just for moving. And it's the type of thing you could probably start small...like just you and two people aside from your regular job and if the business grows, you can make it your only job.
Oh these random thoughts of mine that I'l never act on.
Another Monday is upon us. One day I will figure out how to control the way time goes so fast one days off and weekends to use during the work week. Sure, I'm terrible at science and avoided physics in high school like the plague, but not only would it serve me well to be able to speed up a Tuesday in the office, but it's a surefire money-maker.
At the very least, I would like to move Daylight Savings Time to a Tuesday afternoon. So that one minute you leave for lunch at 1pm, still only take your hour allotted lunch, but return to the office and it's 3pm. That would be wonderful. Much better than losing an hour sleep.

I finished Rob Thurman's fourth book in the Cal Leandros series last week.
After reading, I'm not sure if this is the last book in the series (at least for the time being), as this book managed to wrap a lot of the major plot points that began in the first book. It's also the first book that has a split POV and gives us a look into Niko's mind unfiltered (as we've always just seen him through Cal).
I really liked it. Probably my favorite since the first one. And selfishly, I hope it's not the last of Cal & Niko. I love their relationship and the supernatural quandaries they find themselves in. However, the writer part of me can understand why she might want to move onto new things.
I definitely recommend this series to people who like urban fantasies, but specifically if you like the show, Supernatural. it has a lot of similar themes at work.
I'm now hoping to finish up City of Bones (i'm refraining judgement until I finish) before Claudia Gray's next book comes out.
I really was going to attempt to keep up with this better. I really planned to and then the universe, in its infinite wisdom, decided that things needed to go into free fall, topped off with my mother dying at the end of January. She wasn't sick and it was quite unexpected and emotionally draining, to say the least. I'm still in emotional overload, trying to deal with a whole lot of stuff, but I'm trying to attempt some sort of normalcy.
Easier said than done. Life is just...insane...right now.
I'm also attempting to get back to reading. I haven't really had the attention span for much, but I did finish one book and am currently reading two more.
I had read the first book before the holidays and enjoyed the premise. I liked this one more as the main character deals with her new identity and battling feelings of revenge versus helping people. I like that it's not a simple case of black-and-white for the main character or a few of the other secondary characters. I'm hoping to read the third book soon.
Currently reading the latest Rob Thurman as I love the Cal Leandros series and I was giving the Cassandra Claire trilogy of books a try. I'm not sure on the latter quite yet. It has an interesting plot, but the writing is far from great.
What do you collect?
TV shows on dvd. I have a problem. I'm trying to get better about what I actually purchase, but I do enjoy throwing on an episode of random shows when I'm bored. Aside from that, I'm not really a collector of anything. I tried to collect something when I was younger because my sister collected dolls and I felt weird and left out for not having something, but I get bored with things pretty fast.
If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
I'd teach history. If I had to choose a specification, it'd be American History. I love history. I find it so fascinating.
What's your favorite thing about Monday?
It's Chuck and Heroes night. Really, that's pretty much it and it gets me through the work day.
